An Early Floor Rug with a Grey Field and a Stylized Hide Design, Navajo, circa 1900.

The rug measures 44 inches wide by 69 inches long, as woven. Condition is excellent with less than 2% restoration. Colors are original and full.

The placement of the hide design on the grey field suggests a border, but the lack of a formal, perimeter border is an unusual feature to find in an early floor rug.
